Framer Revamps Asset Panel with Advanced Organization Tools

Framer has released a major update to its Asset Panel, bringing comprehensive improvements to asset management and organization. The redesign introduces folder support with infinite nesting capabilities, allowing users to create more structured workflows for their Components, Styles, and Code assets.

The enhanced interface now features prominent component update notifications with clear badges and action buttons, making it easier to track and manage changes. Users can now organize assets alphabetically and create nested folder structures for better project scalability.

Style management has received significant attention, with streamlined creation processes across Color Styles, Text Styles, and CMS Styles. The update introduces a new Tap Highlight property in the Styles panel and improves color style transfer between projects. Technical requirements have also been updated, with the minimum favicon size now set at 64 × 64 pixels.

The release includes various bug fixes addressing text style alignment, component resizing, and browser scroll restoration issues, ensuring a more stable design experience.
